Important COVID-19 Information

In the wake of the COVID- 19 outbreak and keeping the safety of employees as top priority, Lexus India has suspended local production of ES300h at its plant in Bidadi till further announcement. The company has assured timely communication if the current situation has any impact on vehicles imported as CBU. As a brand that is committed to an exceptional customer experience, Lexus strives to provide assistance remotely to its guests during this period too.

Expressing concern about this global pandemic, PB Venugopal, President Lexus India said, “COVID-19 is impacting everyone around the world and every aspect of our daily lives: our social interactions, our family life, our communities. Our employees are remotely working from home to provide assistance. We are also encouraging our teams to maintain Social Distance and take all precautions to keep themselves & their families safe.”

The Lexus Brand Experience Centre at Delhi Airport has been temporarily closed. The Guest Experience Centre (GEC) operations has also been temporarily suspended, but our teams will be available remotely to assist guests in emergency cases.

  • When will Lexus dealerships resume operations?

    Lexus dealerships are closed in line with the national lockdown announced by the Government of India. Operations restart will be communicated as the lockdown is withdrawn. 

    However, Lexus India wants to work with all our customers to help them through any questions they have regarding COVID-19 and our service to them. In your communications with us please ensure the details of your situation are clear so we can assist you as best as possible.

  • I have made a booking for a new Lexus vehicle- what happens now?

    We want to reassure you that your booking is accepted, and the vehicle is being manufactured or is planned for manufacturing in the near future and will be delivered when it is appropriate to do so. i.e. when the government lowers alert levels and/or the vehicle is available.

    Our Lexus Relationship Managers will update you with the status of your vehicle & the delivery schedule. 

  • How does this affect your supply of vehicles into the country?

    We are continuing to import the vehicles from Japan and consignments are arriving at Indian ports, however, due to the current lockdown, domestic deliveries are put on hold.

    We will be able to quickly move the vehicles from our stocks as soon as the movement restrictions are eased and goods movement across states is normalised.

  • I want to test drive a new vehicle; how do I go about doing this?

    Please share your details with the Lexus Owners Desk at 1800 300 53987, our Lexus Relationship Manager will get in touch with you to explain the product.  The test drive will be appropriately scheduled when the government lowers alert levels and/ or lockdown is withdrawn. 

  • I am currently paying my vehicle off through Lexus Finance – how do I get a break from my repayments due to financial hardship?

    Please reach out to the Lexus Relationship Manager/GM/CEO of the dealership where the booking was made, and our team will assist you. 

  • I was booked in/due to get my vehicle serviced – what happens now?

    Your local Lexus dealership will be open for business when the government reduces the COVID alert levels to a point where dealerships are permitted to open for normal business. Please be rest assured that they will contact you when they reopen to rebook your vehicle service in.

    If you are due in the next month to get your service done, you will be able to do so when the Lexus dealerships reopen. This will have no adverse effect on your vehicle warranty, provided you have previously followed scheduled servicing to this point as required under warranty.

  • I am waiting on parts for my vehicle from my local Lexus dealership – what happens now?

    Your local Lexus dealership will be open for business when the government reduces the COVID alert levels to a point where stores are permitted to open for normal business. Please be assured that they will contact you when they reopen to arrange pick up or delivery of the vehicle parts you are waiting on.
